With Bernie Sanders riding high after his resounding victory in the New Hampshire primary, people who flat-out dismissed the veteran socialist Democrat’s chances are sitting up and taking note.

Demonstrating the bongo’s untapped potential as a political communication device, YouTuber Matt Orfalea’s inspired rap breaks down Sanders’ appeal – and packs in far more information than many media profiles.
In just three-and-a-half minutes, Orfalea lays out the key planks of Sanders’ campaign, including redistributing the wealth captured by the 1%, universal access to healthcare, a minimum standard of living for every American and his freedom from control by corporate donors.
“At the end of the day, they may have the money but we have the people,” Sanders explains in the video. “And when the people stand together, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish. We can win.”
Or, as Orfalea raps, “Bernie’s our only hope, ‘cause he’s not for sale!”
