The latest in Phil Evans’ Lightbox series, an avant-garde exploration into skateboarding stories and visuals, is a portrait piece on Swedish skater Mimmi Leckius.
In part to promote a local girl’s skate organisation in Malmö called Todabidarna, who do a lot to encourage girls’ skating in the region, the Mimmi video digs into the mindset of a dedicated skater, considering questions of drive and freedom.
