Nudity and safety-pins at Afropunk 2015, Brooklyn's celebration of alt. multiculture
Behind-the-scenes photography — Never mind Grace Jones hula-hooping topless, check out these legends in the crowd.

This year marked the thirteenth annual Afropunk in Brooklyn. Founded by Matthew Morgan and James Spooner in 2002, the festival aims to celebrate the inclusion of African-Americans in punk, hardcore and other alternative music.

Highlights this year included Grace Jones performing topless in bodypaint with a hula hoop and a rare set from cult fave Lauryn Hill.

RVCA ambassador and subculture photographer extraordinaire Andrea Dosouto was there to capture all the action in stunning black-and-white frames. Check out her folio of shots above.
