How Beautiful It Is

How Beautiful It Is grew out of a chance meeting with photographer Grant Fleming who intimately documented the end of apartheid in South Africa.
He let slip he had a vast library of unseen shots of Brazil during the same period and the idea to combine these with fresh new art that explores the country’s technicolor present was born.
Soho Warriors FC asked artists such as Malika Favre, Chris Dent, Adrian Johnson, Jean Jullien, Supermundane and Tim Lahan to contribute original work and Increments provided a conceptual soundscape for the show at Shoreditch’s Kemistry Gallery, supported by Adidas.
There are a series of film and match screenings in the gallery space most evenings before it all comes to an end in spectacular fashion with a screening of the World Cup final on Sunday, July 13.
How Beautiful It Is runs until Sunday, July 13 at Kemistry Gallery, Shoreditch. Head over to Soho Warriors FC from more info and details on special events.
